Registration is now open for the first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy’s second location in the U.S. market, opening July 11th at the Bridgeport Village Shopping Center

Today, Little Kitchen Academy (LKA), the key ingredient for an independent child and the first-of-its-kind, Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages three through teen, announced it will welcome the first students to its newest location, LKA Bridgeport Village, on July 11th. The much-anticipated location in Greater Portland is the first being opened by Hale View Partners, LLC. (Michael Silver, Seth Johnson, Shivani Seastone, Whit Carlberg). Silver serves a dual role as one of the partners in LKA Bridgeport Village and as LKA Area Representative for all of Oregon and Washington. A renowned business executive and philanthropist, Silver will support the development of 33 locations in Oregon and Washington and has chosen to donate all franchise proceeds from his Little Kitchen Academy operations to his charity Silver Linings, providing scholarships to disadvantaged kids and bringing programs to underserved schools and communities. Registration is now open for Summer Sessions at LKA Bridgeport Village.

“We are delighted to bring the gift of Little Kitchen Academy to Oregon,” said Michael Silver, franchise partner for LKA Bridgeport Village and LKA area representative for Oregon and Washington. “It’s exciting to be getting so close to welcoming the first students into our kitchen. Our team can’t wait to start changing lives from scratch in Portland!”

LKA Bridgeport Village Director, Paul Arnold

LKA Bridgeport Village is located in Bridgeport Village, a landmark open-air shopping centre in Tigard, Oregon. It is the company’s first franchise location to open in the U.S. market, and the first of 33 to open in Oregon and Washington. The rapidly growing company has more than 140 locations in development globally.

“It is a privilege for us to be sharing what we do with such fantastic partners,” said Brian Curin, co-founder/co-CEO and president of Little Kitchen Academy. “This is an important milestone for Little Kitchen Academy, as this is our second location to open in the U.S. and first franchise location in the market. We can’t wait for Michael, Seth, Shivani, and Whit to see their first students experience LKA for the first time, leaving an inch taller with the pride they feel from the independence and confidence they develop in our safe, inspiring, and empowering environment.”

LKA is currently seeking like-minded multi-unit franchisees and development partners based exclusively in Arizona, California, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. In Canada, there are limited opportunities in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
