Today, Little Kitchen Academy (LKA), the key ingredient for an independent child and the first-of-its-kind, Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages three through teen, announced it will open a second location in Vancouver, British Columbia later this year to address the growing demand from parents for a safe, inspiring activity for their child. “I am thrilled to be opening my second location,” said Atussa Herovi, franchise partner for LKA Edgemont Village and LKA Fraser. “I have seen the joy and learning in my students every day since opening our doors in North Vancouver and can’t wait to share this experience with more children throughout the East Van community.”

LKA Fraser, opening in late 2022, will be located at 3873 Fraser Street in Vancouver. It will be the company’s sixth location to open in British Columbia.

“We are so excited to share the gift of Little Kitchen Academy in such a vibrant and family-centric community,” said Brian Curin, co-founder/co-CEO and president of Little Kitchen Academy. “We were humbled by the high demand at LKA Point Grey and with so many students on a waitlist for our sessions, it made sense to open a second location in Vancouver so more children can experience LKA and gain valuable practical life skills leading to independence.”

LKA is currently seeking like-minded multi-unit franchisees and development partners based exclusively in Arizona, California, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. In Canada, there are limited opportunities in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. Globally, Australia, Brazil, China, Columbia, Ethiopia, France, Italy, Japan, MENA Region, Mexico, Nigeria, Singapore, Spain, and the U.K. are markets available for development.
