Little Kitchen Academy Announces New Owners In The Greater Toronto Area

LKA Vaughan will get new local ownership from a family whose own children have enjoyed gaining independence and confidence through LKA classes.

Toronto, Canada – April 11, 2024  Little Kitchen Academy (LKA) the leading Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages 3 through 18, is excited to announce that Heidi Au and Jason Yu are the new owners taking over management of the LKA Vaughan location. “Our family has been a part of this vibrant community for 14 years, and our connection with LKA since its very first day has only deepened our commitment to continue its legacy,” said Jason Yu.   “We envision LKA Vaughan not just as a place where kids learn to cook, but as a warm, inviting home where kids can learn life skills and healthy eating habits,” explained his wife Heidi Au.

The new owners have two children who are 7 and 5 years old and have been attending classes at the LKA Vaughan location.

“We were thrilled to be approached by Jason and Heidi to provide local ownership and connections in the Vaughan community,” said Brian Curin, CEO/CMO and Co-Founder of Little Kitchen Academy. “We are humbled to see that families like theirs resonate with our mission so much that they want to be a part of bringing our program to more children and schools in their area.”
