I am absolutely delighted to see how much she has grown!
My daughter, Charlotte, began attending weekly classes at age 3 and continues to do so through this Fall, now at age 4. I am absolutely delighted to see how much she has grown! Her desire for learning about food, grocery shopping, chopping, baking, sitting to eat (including using a knife and fork!) and helping me clean after we eat brings a huge smile to my face. I am thrilled that we have the opportunity to attend such a wonderful school and that these are skills Charlotte will carry with her through her life. Thank you to all involved!!!
They’re so proud that they cooked everything all by themselves.
My 4 yo daughter and my 3 yo son loves it! They’re so proud that they cooked everything all by themselves. Bonus point: they love helping me in the kitchen now!
She now wants to recreate the foods she made and try out new recipes.
My daughter had the most amazing time at LKA. She is quite picky, but had no trouble trying new foods she prepared in this nurturing environment. She now wants to recreate the foods she made and try out new recipes. I wish there were more locations!
To say that this place is amazing is such an understatement.
To say that this place is amazing is such an understatement. Felicity is lovely, passionate and extremely knowledgeable in the art and science of both cooking/food and the Montessori method of attachment based experiential learning. My daughter Ariana cannot contain her excitement for this place, and is learning life skills, building on a passion and enjoying new and delicious foods. I wish EVERY child could experience Little Kitchen Academy. Worth every penny and then some!
She can't wait for her next class!
Shout out for Little Kitchen Academy. My daughter had become rather reclusive during covid and was having a hard time getting back to mixing with others. She was a little reluctant to join classes but after her first session last week at Little Kitchen Academy, she was sooooooooo excited by it! She was even more so after the bread session last night. She can't wait for her next class and wants to sign up for the next set!
I have learned that cooking can really bring people together.
Thank you for teaching us how to cook amazing dishes. When I cooked the breakfast quesadilla for my family, the room filled with happiness. I was so excited to see their faces when they ate it. I have learned that cooking can really bring people together. I hope I can come and learn at Little Kitchen Academy again.
We have had our 3 year old in classes for the past year and he ADORES them.
We have had our 3 year old in classes for the past year and he ADORES them. It has made all the difference to his desire to try new things and he now loves helping out with both cooking and cleaning in the kitchen. We have always done the morning class so that he comes out with lunch for me which makes my whole day. I can't recommend LKA more and will continue with my son for the foreseeable future and can't wait for our 2 year old to turn 3 and start too!
She said she loves to go to cooking school and kept asking when she can go again.
I enrolled my 4yo daughter and she absolutely loved it! Every morning she’d ask “hmm I wonder what I’m cooking today..”. She said she loves to go to cooking school and kept asking when she can go again. The teachers are lovely, very caring and good with children. They don’t rush the kids during class but instead try to go with each kids’ pace. They told me my daughter really took her time cutting the chives to make sure everything is nice and small Lol. I talked to the owner briefly and she seems very passionate and extremely knowledgeable in food industry. Bonus : all the foods they make are vegetarian and super yummy! Eg : twice baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese, quinoa berry salad, quiche, corn & chives popovers, etc! I just wish they have an adult class so I can enroll my husband too! Lol.
We found a difference in him now wanting to help out and participate in the kitchen.
We frequently drive by LKA, and finally we decided to enrol our 6 yr old son in one the summer sessions. I'm glad we did - he had such a great time and he tells us that LKA was his favourite summer activity. We found a difference in him now wanting to help out and participate in the kitchen. LKA is the place for kids to develop a greater an interest in cooking, a very important life skill. The food actually tastes not bad for a kid - the recipes are good and ingredients fresh. We weren't sure what to expect in the beginning, but LKA exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be enrolling our son in another class.
